We've Moved to North Carolina: What Consider It Flowers Customers Need to Know
Published: July 2026
Last week, we reopened shipping to customers in hemp-friendly states from our new North Carolina fulfillment center.
First off... thank you.
The support has been incredible, and we've received a lot of great questions about where we're shipping, why Tennessee isn't included, what's happening with new flower strains, and what the federal hemp ban means for the future.
Here's everything you need to know.
Why Did Consider It Flowers Move Fulfillment to North Carolina?
When Tennessee's new hemp law took effect, it became illegal to sell hemp-derived cannabinoid (HDC) products online or deliver them anywhere within Tennessee.
Rather than shutting down completely, we partnered with a fulfillment team in North Carolina so we could continue serving customers who live in hemp-friendly states.
This allows us to continue operating while we keep fighting for better cannabis laws in Tennessee.
Where Can You Ship?
We're currently shipping to customers in hemp-friendly states.
If your state allows these products, we're back.
Unfortunately, Tennessee is no longer eligible under the state's new online sales law.
If you're unsure whether we can ship to your state, check our website or contact our team.
Why Can't You Ship From North Carolina Back Into Tennessee?
This has easily been our most frequently asked question.
The short answer is:
Because we won't break the law.
We've always believed cannabis belongs in a regulated, compliant marketplace.
That means following the law—even when we don't agree with it.
Some companies may choose a different path.
That's never been who we are.
Shipping these products into Tennessee now carries significant legal consequences, and Tennessee is still our home.
We'll continue to play by the rules while fighting for better ones.
New THCa Flower Is Being Added Every Day
We're working as fast as we can to add new flower strains back to the website.
In the meantime, you'll notice our Dealer's Choice flower options.
Dealer's Choice is the same top quality flower you've always puffed, now with updated pricing for an even better value.
Simply choose:
-
Flower Tier: Exotic, Premium, or Essential
-
Flower Type: Sativa, Hybrid, or Indica
-
Flower Weight: ⅛ oz, ¼ oz, ½ oz, or 1 oz
We'll hand-pick one of our favorite strains for you.
As we continue updating inventory, specific strain listings will return.
The Federal Hemp Ban: What Happens in November?
Unfortunately, Tennessee isn't the only challenge facing the hemp industry.
A federal hemp ban is currently scheduled to take effect at the end of November 2026.
If that happens, legal hemp products would disappear nationwide—not just in Tennessee.
That's why we're treating this North Carolina relaunch as an opportunity to continue serving customers while we still can.
But we're not giving up.
We're actively working alongside Hemp Industries and Farmers of America (HIFA) to support new legislation that would prevent the ban from taking effect.
We're cautiously optimistic there's still a path forward, and we'll continue advocating for the plant every step of the way.
What's Next for Consider It Flowers?
Our path forward has changed.
Our commitment never will.
We'll continue:
-
Serving customers in hemp-friendly states
-
Adding new flower strains and products
-
Fighting to stop the federal hemp ban
-
Advocating for better cannabis laws in Tennessee
-
Working toward meaningful cannabis legislation during Tennessee's 2027 legislative session
The story isn't over.
Thank you for sticking with us.
