LEGALITY OF HEMP DERIVED DELTA-9 THC:

Section 10013 of the 2018 Hemp Farm Bill defines hemp as “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”

For each 1 gram (1000mg) on a dry weight basis, we can have up to 3 milligrams of hemp-derived Delta 9 THC at .3 percent.

For example, if a single gummy weighs 5 grams (5,000 mg), it can have up to 15 mg (.3% x 5000mg) of hemp-derived Delta-9 THC in it.
